My boom has a small section of grip that has come loose at the join under my hand in one section. The grip is still intact but I'll need to glue it down again. What is the best glue or any other quick fixes?
Be careful about how you use contact cement.
It has to be applied to both surfaces and allowed to dry (10 to 20 min if memory serves) before pushing the surfaces together firmly.
To do that under a bubble you'd have to cut the eva and peel it back.
You can even up the resulting joint with sand paper.

Dont go buy a tin of glue just for that. I have some here. Just pop round some time with the boom and do it here. Should only take a few minutes.
