Thanks Elmo, appreciate that.
Actually my boss gave me a call from where he could see the water, and he said it was blowin' its "socks" off, way too windy for sailing. I said I'd better go and check. He said go for it. I went, and he was right, at least for the gear I had - 90L and 4.2, my board kept trying do blast into space, and that was just trying to beachstart. Had a bit of fun though. That's me in the middle.

Nah, salty, and my van is covered with a crust of salt!!! Better wash it tomorrow. Don't know what the wind speed on the water was, pretty strong though, I did a couple of runs ok, then got stuck, just couldn't stop my board getting flung around in the air, both when I was on it and when I wasn't. We normally knock 10 knots off that graph reading for the bay, so still pretty strong. But it's knee - waist deep there, so good fun. My Gath paid for itself again.
