hi all just looking for the old cremaster web by cameron steel.
has any one seen it , is it still running ??

That website has gone. It was still accessible till about a year or so ago. I saw Cameron a few months ago and asked him about it. He said he hadnt done anything to it since about Feb 2007, so it was eventually removed.

It was a good website of mainly Pt Henry action. It had some good history on it from about 2003 to about 2007.

Mainly had Windsurfing on it, but also has some Kitesurfing. And some funny photo's and comments from Cameron about the guys/girls who sailed there

Its a shame for all the newer Pt Henry sailors/kiters of today, they could have checked out some of the history of the place. I myself learnt to windsurf there in 1984. And recently been going there to Kite.

One thing that was good in the "Old" days was the spit. You could nearly walk out to where the channel marker is now. But for some stupid reason, some company mined the shell grit in the mid ninetys and the shell grit never came back to make another spit. Was good for speedsailing along it.
