deviators that fit into mast track

Has anybody had a problem with deviators that fit into the mast track? I've just got a new board and I'm a bit worried that the deviator might damage the mast track.

IMHO a smashed nose is easier to fix than a mast track if in fact it will lever out the mast track who NOSE

I'm in the same boat bought one but doubt if I'll ever use it maybe you can buy mine
The guy with the JP SLW who sailed HBay last week has already smashed his nose and is now buying a JP nose protector for around $125 but you can also make your own
Not much help I'm afraid
