I'm liking the 2 pairs of random booties thrown in to sweeten the deal!!![]()
(kind of like your windsurfers version of steak knives!!)
if you could clench that deal it would be a winner for sure throw in one of those hyper color tee shirts and im in ![]()

OMG ...here comes another one!
(it's even got a hole in one spot and needs restitching elsewhere) -buyer will be thrilled with the bargain thoughhttp://cgi.ebay.com.au/6-4m-Gastra-Racefoil-Pro-Race-Sail-sailboard-f2-mistral_W0QQitemZ250560522161QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Sport_Surfing?hash=item3a569227b1
How good is the sales pitch??
at least that one is only $50 so far. My point with the other ones is the prices they're setting their old crap at.
I know this is an old topic, but thems bargains keep reaming at us...
The board is a "Vauge", wth is that ??http://sydney.gumtree.com.au/c-Boats-Jet-Skis-boats-jet-skis-other-Windsurfer-with-two-salis-and-everything-you-need-can-deliver-W0QQAdIdZ175630597
Gotta love the sale's pitch: "one small one big", "will swap for a kiteboard kit or something fun to do with water" (I like the contradiction here
), etc.
Also like the prisoner striped outfit lying on the sail too, dunno what that is.
Only 320 quids.
The last board looks like a cricket field.
Didn't know Bambora had made those kinda boards.
Very enthusiastic sales pitch though.
The Kazoo was somehow associated with Bombora ........ Bombora had the moulds but went out of business and somebody else picked them up, or it was the Bombora factory by different name or something
Forget the Bombora, this one could take some beating too, given the damage....
for only $350, a slightly damaged "goose neck" shouldn't get in the way of a bargain.http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Mistral-3-7m-windsurfer-sailboard_W0QQitemZ300390732995QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Sport_Surfing?hash=item45f0aed4c3
the kazoo has been updated, now it comes with a speed sail and a fin! awesome.
if you guys think that's a bargain then you are all on drugs. a bargain is a complete mk2 one design setup for under $200 and that's a fantastic setup to get people onto the water.
saying a board is a modern shape when it is not and saying they usually retail for over $1800 and offering a "sail" with no mast, boom, universal etc!!!. lets hops all of the fittings required for a rarely see nboard can stil be found. like base plate?
my favourite part is that it has no centerboard to fuss with! no need to fuss about with sailing upwind either!
anyways i'll leave it to you guys and arnopld to bid on this one. i hope none of you own shops ![]()
We've got two Kazoos at the Illawarra Yacht Club that we teach people how to sail on Saturday mornings. They are quite heavy and awkward but on the water they serve a great purpose - to make a learners first experience enjoyable so that they keep coming back. Perfect for the novice, not really a board for an intermediate or advanced rider. Once they have had a couple of go's on it then they are best to upgrade to something like a WOD or mistral one design.
From what I know about the Kazoos they were designed by Tom Luedecke who designed boards for Bombora. Not sure on where they were built of how many are out there.
Speaking of Tom. I've still got a sweet Bombora South Pac 292 sitting in my garage at home, too many fond memories to get rid of it.
Cheers,
Russ
