trying to fix some formula baterns .. come across 2 problems .. they broke on the solid end right near the cams so im trying to replace that bit but they are glued into the lil adaptor between the solid end and the hollow tube .. tried a bench vice and multigrips but it wont budge .. and on the ones that aint guled i got a new bit of batern in the tube fine but trying to come up with a good idear to cover the end of batern so it wont delaminate or poke they the webbing at end of pocket
thanks
Most will use cyanoacrylate (CA) which is superglue.
Some use epoxy but not many as it is a longer process to mix it up
You can get CA solvent at hobby shops which may work - it really only softens it a little doesn't really fully dissolve it
gastra . .ended up cuting the batern off flush and drilled it out ... BUT now i think by cutting the replacement baterns the way i am its makeing the at the cam extremely stiff? useing baterns from a 5m sailworks wave sail
