Do a search on the thread "Sailing the Bellarine in a Westerly" - the local boys imparted a lot of knowledge there.
Forget Lake Connewarre. Way too much weed. Its like a thick carpet there at the moment.
Pt Henry is probably your best option. Launch from the western side unless its N-NE (its better from the point then)
