wifey complains Friday of dizziness and vomitting, i send her to family doc and verdict is vertigo and a few meds for anti-acid..since Sat & Sun are the fun times with the fellas i was happy i could still go the next morning..a few hours later she complains she can't take it anymore and wants to be confined--wow was i so mad thinking i wouldn't be able to leave hospital to sail?[}:)]plus the fact the doc wants to do an endoscopy..this time i was freaking out! for whatever reasoning i made it to the sail site and all where there and as selfish bastard i was ironically i did 2 PB's..i hurried back home to get back to wifey happily and endearingly tried to comfort her..What in the world does windsurfing do to us all i mean just me or is iti guess the whole week was so stressing that i needed a short break but this is unexcusable

ditto, Drove to esperance on a beach fishing trip, rang my beloved just befor e going out of phone range for 4 days, to be told that mum is throne hugging since early hours.
felt really guilty until the first bit of beach driving ,first fish/beer wiped my mind of the domestic situation.
fortunately all was well on the home front by the time I returned with the catch

Hey Johno I was thinking you should have stayed with lovely wifey but then I saw you got 2 PB's mate
With luck your wifey will always be there but PB's are hard to come by

Is a sad reality, but whe I'm not distracted by feeing I have to run around after the kids , sort out thier gear, solve silly arguments, etc, I start to focus on my sailing.
Last month I managed 7 straight wins(a PB) before a slow leak in a rear tyre caused me to get beaten.
Would have been great to have the lovely wife run out with a fresh wheel midrace, but , of course the wonderful lady was off keeping the kids occupied for a few days .
you just cant win [}:)]

In good times and in bad
For richer, for poorer
In sickness and in health
As long as it doesn't blow over 15 knots.

In the same vein...

a guy I know recently retired....after a couple of months
his wife said to him...

I married you under these proviso's...

In good times and in bad
For richer, for poorer
In sickness and in health

But not for lunch

"go & find something to do!"

You have to be a fellow addict to understand.

> about feeling guilty

On the contrary, we're being generous when we leave them home to go sailing in 25 knots all day.

This way, da missus has a better body that does a better job for them.

That's my take anyways, removes any guilt whatsoever.
