Hi, Skwiz,

This appears to be a JP board in the year range of 2000 to 2004.

Suggest you look at the top, rear of the board and get the width and volume measurements, then go onto the JP site (http://www.jp-australia.com/2009/index.php) and have a look at their specs in these years.

The listing for each board is complete with a range of sails.

Others may care to know at what level of experience you are and where you sail.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

WindmanV

So where are you???

It's very hard to give you a precise sail size, a lot depends on sailing conditions, type of sail and your skill level, and "medium" wind I'm afraid doesn't mean a lot.
I've been sailing over 20 years and weigh 70kg, my biggest sail is 6.0m, most of the time I'm on a 5.2m speed sail or a 5.3m wave sail, but our winds may be stronger than yours.

From 15 to 25kts I can use my 6m Tushingham lightning, from 20 to 30kts I use the 5.2 Tushingham X15, both cammed sails.
With wave sails I use the 5.3 from 15 to 25kts, a 4.7 from 20 to 30kts and a 4.3 over 25kts

Note, there are other people my weight and less, who have bigger sails, (over 7m) but they want to get going well in winds 15kts and below.
