Great place. I went last August when they have organised weeks with board hire. All the boards from 135ltres - 78ltres and sails c 3.8m - 8.2m(?) were often rigged ready to go and you just came in and got whatever you needed for the conditions. Jp boards & Neil pryde sails mainly although they had a 115ltre Fanatic that was good..
Winter gets the best wind. Our trip wasn't as good wind as usual as there was a low pressure system overhead but I still sailed 5 / 7 days..
If you like unspoilt clean environments and getting away from the rat race its great!

Hi Ratz,
Great to hear you are planning a trip over to Lord Howe. You are coming in the peak time for the SW winds so the sailing on the lagoon should be excellent. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and if you like being out on the water then there is plenty to keep you occupied(windsurfing, scuba diving, surfing, Sup) See you over here.

Looks like you are going to have a bit of breeze over during the next couple of days Tasman. Should be good for the small boards. Rip it up.
