another idea i have is to get some of me old mans bricks chuckem on me back and give it a shot at me local drain. i am looking for a drain to speedsail on any farmers here got one? i have seen a few that i have me eyes on but ya not aloud on em. over theother side of the bay i know of windsurfers speedsailing in huge farm drains. need to find a speed pit or build one somewhere. sandy point it to far to draw a crowd its no mans land we need to promote the sport.

Drains have rocks and other crap in them; gotta snorkel the entire length of 'em first to check.

Go for it man! If not you, then who?

i know a spot that is the best spot in melbourne its like better than the french speed strip. its super windy flat as a dog and wind blows straight across the water way for over 500 meters. problem its out of bounds it has like 3 speed strips. i should google map it for yas but we can only dream and never sail it whats the point.

Good luck with that Windwarning. Was travelling across Victoria's western district about a year ago. It was apparently also a good day for Sandy Point, some good times were set. But the wind out near Minyip was also howling, and very steady. The terrain out there is so flat. The Sandy Point dunes are mountainous by comparison. Didn't see any substantial farmers drains or irrigation ditches though.
