lucky its winter, but no skiing :(

after sailing through the whitsundays for 3 weeks this happened on the 2nd last day, so limped around Hamilton island and couldn't get out for a windsurf there after dreaming about it for 3 weeks prior.

slipped down the steps on the back of the boat, just of south molle island. and now the swelling has started to go down post op from yesterday its starting to get real sore again :(

With that plate providing good fixation it should be feeling pretty good in 4-6 weeks. It might be another month before the swelling goes down enough to fit into regular shoes though!
Keep your foot up as much as possible. It really helps with the pain.
