has anyone of you noticed the joint were the two halves stick together; on the bottom mast i've always seen the joint where the top mast sits seem to "mushroom" outwards or sort of flatten outwards thereby creating a bump when the cambers slide down...what's the cause of this
it's happened already on two of my masts
I think plastic isn't meant for masts, there never used to be that problem in the past. The other problem arising from sails with heaps of tension is splitting the plastic/metal stopper.
it's not the plastic mk7 just the masts when joined together and downhauled real hard
