gday boys and girls
I've got a bit of crackage (splits) on the top section of the mast, right down the bottom at the join. Im assuming its from me not connecting the 2 properly and the pressure of the curve has resulted in this. Would i just carbon wrap to reinforce it? Any suggestions welcome.
Also would anyone know where to get the materials??
Cheers
Mike
strangely enough i have the same issues and i cut off about 40mm and seems to be fine now,
mast was a north sails
I think weight loss may be the answer.
If you are poledancing, swing off the top part of the pole and you are a bit,,,well,,,chunky, its putting alot of pressure on your pole.
So either diet or only swing around the lower part of the pole.Or get a stronger pole.
Glad I could help.![]()
Bin it.
It will break when your furthest from shore when you least need it. Could damage the luff pocket of your sail.
Old mast top sections make good beach shade posts.
