I got the email form them and was kicking myself.

A couple of years ago I threw out an old triangle dacron sail that was about very early 80's and guess what brand it was........... [}:)][}:)][}:)]

What year did the Combat Wave first come out? Got a near mint condition 3.5 at my parents house, the model before the ones with the jagged black shapes (or maybe the smaller ones didn't have them?). Unrolled it about 6 months ago, still looks like new! Would have been used maybe 10 times. Huuuuge head strap, I think to suit the old 465cm one piece masts.

Sorry Sqiddy it was 1988-89 and they made sails long before that

Anyway, the RAF Dynamic was a better sail back then

- poor form for such a huge company...it would be better marketing if there were 40 rigs to give away, it would at least encourage me to have a look! And it would only cost them prob about $4k!

some of the old NP sails i cut up dont even have battens. does any body have some mid eighties fotos to put up to compare
