I have Select Super Fast Racing 51 fin that has cracked where the fin joins the base after only about 7 hours of use. If you sight down the blade you will notice very obvious cracks in the plastic tuttle base (parallel to blade). Has any one else had this problem with select fins recently? No explanation from Select fins!

I know a lot of people using Select and they seem happy.

Take it back for refund / exchange?

I had a SF36 that fell out of the plastic base. The glue they use lets go over time. I reset mine in the base with epoxy and put a pin through the base and fin just to make sure.
I have heard of others letting go in the same way.

If it's new they should replace it.

AB01,
Try this thread also. It appears this is not an isolated problem.

Thanks for the link sausage. I've been using select for years and this is the first bad one I've had. Looks like I'll have to try a different brand!
