However many new threads are created asking the question - where are we sailing today, Shearwater or the Train? I know this is an important question to ask so why not keep it in one thread? Its reasonable to ask as its always the same question.

Over time it would be interesting to see how big it gets.

us gold coasters would get confused by the previous post on a sticky thread because it is so long between actual good forecasts.
e.g. wow guys forecast looks sick tomorrow, anyone going to shearwater?

if it was a sticky, someone would log in in late feb and reply:

see you guys there!
