Can someone tell me what the tendon product actually is [Polly-something??]How long are the replacement tendons any experience drilling.Looking at using something like that as a replacement for a mechanical pivot/knuckle on land yacht steering.Should be strong enough given the load it withstands windsurfing.

The tendons are about 2 to and 2 1/4 inches long. They have approximately 6mm holes drilled in each end, with the hole at one end drilled at 90 degrees to the other end.

Why do you want to use them? Looking at your photo, I assume that you want to replace these joints with them?

Can you just use tie-rod ends from a car's steering rack?

If you want to find out what they are made from try 'streamlined tendon' under Google. I think they are polyurethane, but that's just a wild guess.

Used the go cart ends in picture and its come up well. The tendon idea was something i thought could be applied to this application,by the sounds of the size and pre drilling i reckon there almost made to order.Used tie rod ends =0$ ,this whole build has been 99% recycled materials so tendons would have blown the budget.
