i like to say i don't mind sailing alone
when i sent an sms to all the guys well just 5 of us just one replied and we sailed a pretty good one..sometimes i feel am been made a guinea pig to update them when i arrive at the spot how strong the wind and sea state is and kinda obliged to answer back which i did but on this day it was drizzling in the city but none and windy on the beach moreso windguru only says 12..but they had doubts and i sent a last message "lookin' good" the response after i was done sailing with mate was 'i don't think it's strong enough'..well bloody hell! i thought..i take a risk and get rewarded sometimes not and it's just too bad but if the odds are in my favor then i enjoy why not when it was 6.3 weather and fully powered planing was 100% of the time
I know the feeling jp, I've sent the sms on numerous occasions only to be told..."looks dodgy". Had the best sessions on these days!
I make a point of sending the "should've been here!" sms after!!![}:)]
