you were right Leech, it was too windy for me a 4.7 fully downhauled, 76l board lasted about 20 minutes, then wisely I came in, couple of other guys out at woodies on 3.5 and 3.9's around 5pm. It was windy wish I had a 3.9.
But still I love those conditions, no mucking around, being able to stall the board almost to a standstill fully in the straps then simply by pointing downwind leaping off again.....caos....I love it. Only 4 kites out.

You should have tried it a bit later on - 4.2 too big almost all the time, and then it picked up !

Getting downwind was the hard bit, holding position and stalling was manageable.

Great fun !

Respect to Greenroom, we were both on 4.5 rocks for a couple of hours at Metts and he's probably about 8kgs lighter than me! Go tha "ROOM"

wind was 34knts, maxed out on my 4.1, could hear my poor old mast creak as I cranked on the downhaul! First time I've sailed Metts in 10yrs & with a bit of swell it's a top banana place to sail! I noticed the kiter didn't stay out for long

I think you mean Tuesday.
Yes, Tuesday was even stronger than Saturday (what a pair of days! - with recovery time in between! )

I used the same 4m sail at Pinnaroo on Saturday and Melville yesterday and was comfortable on Saturday but overpowered at times yesterday.

Ditto that, used same 4.2 at pinnarro sat and peli yesterday - yesterday was scarey, as the kiters would say, fully sic

Good fun at peli with the errant drifting boat crossing the path .... two boats washed up yesterday.

Like the look of Point Walter though.

Looks like it is back up again today - whitecaps on the swan already - 20 kn now with Swanborne already there.

Ooooops

Yes Tuesday - I spent too much time at work on Monday (day and all night) so forgot what month it was, let alone what day

Anita I told you that you need to buy a 3.2 and 3.7

I thought I did really well with the 4. No catapults, heaps of fun and it only got ripped out of my hands once.

Funny thing is, lately I've either been using my smallest sail (4) or my largest (6.2).
My middle sized sails have had no use for ages.
