Had to meet a contractor at Myponga today, the b*st*rds never turned up, so after waiting and ringing, unsuccessfully, for around two hours, decided to go for a swim at Sellicks beach and cool down. What a fantastic way to ease the bothers of a wasted morning. The water was so clear and refreshing, I nearly rang the office to hand in my notice with the idea of living at Sellicks in the back of my Toyota, which of course I would have stolen from the company i work for, which for my own sake will remain un named...
But for some reason I thought, “Naahh, best go back to the office…” what a stupid idea that was, I should have stayed at the beach. Why is there always the irritating niggle in the back of your head that says, “now now Chris, come on, do the right thing…”? how do I know that staying at the beach wasn't the right thing? Christ it ****s me…
I'll never forget one day in particular I wagged school to surf at Duranbah. Near perfect tubes all day. I got caught and given two more days off as suspension!
If you weren't driving a Toyota you could have feigned mechanical problems and bought yourself a few hours.
Aaaaaah. Waiting for the wind. Did you see any dolphins??? The last time I swam there, I saw two dolphins in knee deep water ten feet from me. They were fishing and surfing the little wave, nearly beaching themselves. It was so beautiful. I love that beach.
me too. Yes its hot? Was that the right answer?
