Only one problem - a distinct lack of wind. Why did I take today off?

When do you get some sleep? From what I've heard night shift is no good for your health but if you can get out and go for sail then thats great.

It's better with 12 hour shifts than 8 hour. If I had to do 8 hour, I'd be looking to quit doing shift work.

Don't you guys sleep on night shift if there's no fires? Or are there too many fires?

I hate it but I'm out on the water more than anyone around here so the side benifits are great.[money, more time off, extra annual leave all add up to time on the water]Plus the feeling of getting up and going for a blast on the water that arvo to get rid off the night shift blues.

Yeh you're right but it's not just fires and it's a rare night without calls

Night shift rocks - seriously do about 1/8 th the work compared to day shifts and can have a big day our on the water then slepp 3-4 hours at work.

If not sleepy just get on Team fort 2 :P

not where i work, it has the potential to be flat out, with less staff and just as many presentations. :(

anyway got a sail with the harness, what a bit of equipment! managed to sail for a few hours without wondering if i can still hold onto the sail if i just go for one more run. :), and my arms didnt hurt to badly today....
