They have a nasty habit of snapping, always seems to be the bottom half.
I now use the X6 which works fine but is a slightly larger diameter.
Ive got 3 tops for 460 masts...x3, x6 & x9
...and as of last night...a 430 x3 bottom! 
(which I'll be keeping to use with one of the mast tops that I have, incase anyone's wondering.)
It's just not funny when you're walking along, carrying your gear after just finishing a sail, and out of nowhere...'SNAP' top section breaks right on the end of the ferrule.
I'm not one for brand-bashing, but I know which brand I'll never purchase again!

im a bit skint. ahaha
i rigged the sail up on an older mast i have at home but the diameter was too large and the cams wouldnt rotate well enough.
will the x6 have this same issue?
