Hello

The strut of my naish Mk4 exploded after two years of use. The wing was bought new. It was in a deformed point at the front of the strut. I replaced by a new suitable strut, but it seemed that it was full only at 4PSI pressure. Finally after 5 sessions it exploded again in point deformed with 4 PSI pressure, also at the front of the strut.

Could somebody help me?. It seems something is not good with the front part of the strut, both in the original one and the replacement.

The bladder can get twisted inside the strut when deflated and sticks to the sides of the strut when inflating causing a section of the bladder to stretch. This is exasperated if the strut was not put in properly aligned with valve and end-connection points.
I had a visible crease at front of strut. I flushed the strut inside with fresh water in case some gunk (algae?) was sticking inside, didn't help. Vigorous shaking before and several times during inflation helped somewhat, so try that. Brand offered advice but were baffled by its persistence and replaced the wing, fantastic support and service.
A friend has a similar problem with another brand's wing and thinks it's something to do with the double layer of bladder material at the end so has cut that away. Sounds drastic and swapping one problem for another
