Is it? Have you studied French, German, Italian, Spanish, Greek, and Latin??? If no, have you any interest in doing so?

Yes and yes. People are my passion, especially those that speak Spanish fluently now there is a sexy language
Your perception seems to be formed from biased media reports rather than personal experience.
Who is trying to convert you to Islam? I'd say the Jehovas are more likely to come knocking on your door.

By the way, for what it's worth...

I think anyone calling for an end to multiculturalism should immediately have their wish granted. They can be deported back to wherever they came from. Which means that anyone who isn't aboriginal gets a free ride to wherever...

Bullsh!t. Usual crap trotted out by socialist types. What about those born here (ie: white peopel who had no say in it, they just popped out of mum in Australia)
Where would you send them?

How about ending the "them and us" or "we deserve special treatment" ...... everyone is equal 100% (sorry, should be equal 100%) and treated the same.

Usual crap trotted out by the right wing redneck types.

The non-aboriginals born here are a result of a multicultural Australia. If they don't like it, they're free leave.

But I do actually agree with you about the no special treatment deal. That means no special treatment for anyone, Mark.

You are right the jehovas are bad too but they only come once... usually after they came on a Sunday morning at 8 am they are too scared to come back to my address ever after, muslims are not "coran bashing" and I praise them for it but they are pushing in other ways, bombing, been more intolerant than me as they recognize having no respect to any culture other than their, would you be allow to build a Buddhist or Zen temple in Iran? We have no prob with mosques here!

If you read a bit you will know that there are about 600 Christian churches in Iran servicing a population of up to 300,000
http://edition.presstv.ir/detail/107018.html

In fact there are more Christians in Iran than there are Muslims in Australia LOL

You see the problem in Iran is that it is not a secular society. Mind you some would say the same of America LOL

Well Buddhists unlike muslims and christians do not try to force they views on the others, when have you last heart of Buddihst terrorists or suicide bombers or treating their wifes worst than animals! The Dalai Lama calls for world peace not for jihad.... I rest my case!

Mmmmm but, the Dalai Lama is picked at birth by a select and secretive committee of monks and groomed for leadership with no personal choice in the matter.

Boys may enter the monastry and become monks but girls may not.

Budhists preach peace and love, but it is still a very compliant peace and love.

Some may argue it is better to fight for freedom than live under brain washed unquestioning compliant control of the state. (Quote by PM33 I think, albeit in a different context)

We find that religion & politic topics turn people who like each other into people who don't like each other, and that's not what seabreeze is about.

Google is your friend for seeking religous debate.

Enjoy..

nothing wrong with a good and robust argument as long as you do not call people names and try hurting feelings before making your point! By the way PR I still love you... No hard feelings from me!

not trying to win just expressing my opinion! that is called free speech! And them PR express his opinion then we disagree and that is called conversation or arguing the point! Any body reading the forum can makeup their opinion, all conduced in a civilised manner! And that is called democracy!... not about winning or loosing!

Nah. The original idea came from a Victorian, so let him have it. I really liked the way a Victorian had such a fabulous idea for WA - "You have all the muzzies and we'll just have your money". Good try, good try!

However, if it's the raging success mooted, a 2nd one in Canberra would certainly be ideal. Again, anywhere but here thanx.

Yep, I'm totally intolerant of intolerant muslims!

I think have to offer an apology to you all.

At no time did I ever intend to give anyone the impression that I like any of you.
