Car yard add from WA, 70s-80's.
"dont sign anything until you see Paceway Mitsubishi"

Not sure when this add or what it was about, but was to sell a Japanese motor vehicle add came next but it had a catch at the end with a Japanese accent "Arrsoo, "please consider"

What about the RIVERS ad's?? not very shouty but they play the lamest music. very annoying.

or, there is a local ad from a mob called kitcraft kitchens and the lady who is in it and does the talking has this really irritating voice. sounds half like shes using one of those voice robot things some people have.

cant concentrate on the ad because of her irritating voice.

I think that's Sonya V, but not sure. There has to be an issue with her voice, as she was one of the top DJ's here for many years then went East chasing the big bucks. Came back, and this was the next we were dished up on her latest effort. Got to be a voice box damage or she is suffering an illness, no way she sounded like that before she left. Great lady, so pity its down to this quality.

Without pressing play, I reckon that's the Decore add and Cottees Cordial add. Both classics ang catching as a sing along IMO.

Daft Greg Evans definitely was before the Daddo guy.

Always thought the latter was a bit, you know.
But then he's married with kids, so he possibly couldn't be.

... real cheesy commercials, when you was young (or younger at least).

"I like Bing Lee" (late 80s? - hated that tune and the karate guy in there)

"What a great idea, St-George" (Julie Anthony, early 90s?)

used to be a stupid song about Nowra Fair, I have mental block so much I hate that.

some stupid promo skit for the matchmaking show with Cameron Daddo - embarrassing. early 80s??

Your turn.

Merry beach caravan 'resort' smashed nowra fairs jingle in the 'i wanna take a drill to my temple' stakes

OK, here's one. In 1986, there was a ridiculous commercial that lasted very few days before it was pulled off the air.

In that clip, a famous sports personality idiotically went "I can drink 4 or 5 of these and I'm not even drunk". It was an early commercial about light beer, obviously using humour rather brains.

Who was he, and what was the beer?
I have the answer to the former only...
