...and funky, three to six months is the optimum storage time for the brew which is why i have so many bottles, although fully drinkable after two weeks just not as smoooth. ![]()
bottles apparently last 30-40+ brews.
and once it's tapped if you keep it gassed then i can't imagine it would go off anytime soon.
Ok well doggie..can't find Millers Ice here in WA..so far..
So I have settled for "Fosters Light" for now..
at least it is lower in alcohol than Carlton Cold...3 of these and I has drunk ![]()
and 1 Carlton Cold is 1.2 standed drinks were the Fosters Light is .7

Mind you Hahn Ice was a high Alcohol beer..and I could drink that not a problem..

the very best beer I ever tasted was home brew made by me, funny though all my mates reckon it was gins p**s. My true fav. is coopers pale ale, one of the best things ever to come from SA. 4X aint bad tooheys new , hey I think they are ALL good!
Thanks guys. All this talk of beer and I had to go buy a few cartons for comparison. I am currently comparing Asahi to Grolsch, and I think Asahi has a stronger, but similar flavor. I suspect the testing will continue all week ![]()
On a related note, I did a volunteer job working behind a bar on a week long bike (bicycle) ride and noticed that there seemed to be people that would only drink Coopers Green and others that would only drink Coopers Red. I can't say I noticed the difference, but people seemed very particular to one or the other.
