I also boogered when I was a child.
I got my first surf board when I was 11 and never looked back. Seriously Nothing beats that feeling of your first wave on a surf board when you start trimming and generating speed down the line and off the face.

NO you cant have a bodyboarding forum. Personally I feel there are limited discussion points and there are other sites for that.
Recently we started a longboarding forum and we're flat out keeping that one going.............

I know I'm probably being a bit too politically correct here but...I 'surf'....I have been surfing for last 20 years..., when I was a kid back in school...I also 'surfed' ....but it was on a bodyboard! I even still dabble in it when I feel like a surfing something different...just the same as I jump between my longy, shorty, fish, coffee table, door, bodysurf...friggin whatever.
I don't recall ever saying "we are going bodyboarding" or "that was a good bodyboard" it was always "surfing", "we surfed", "that was awesome surf."
The sooner people get over this pointless segregation the better...on that I still didn't think we needed a longboarding section.

I surfed until my shoulders cr@pped out and then boogied on down for a while. It was better than nuthin and fun. Then came kiting and my lid has gathered dust ever since.
For the life of me I don't know why able bodied folks go the booger instead of surfing, but then we still have poleys who refuse to kite.
Seriously for a mo tho. Surfing in the Perf metro is bl00dy average and you may as well go the lid. You get 3 x more waves and enjoyment at metro breaks on a lid generally. And who wants to go SUP and look like a lost gondola bloke?
I should dis old folks now to make sure I have offended as many collectives as possible. Silly incontinent farts. There that's better.
Truly though, if your in the water on anything (hell even goaties - the one's that share) then your all getting some stoke and fun from huey and co. All good really.
