The billions of dollars that are spent developing canal estates, artificial islands and the like.

Then the billions of dollars that are spent by consumers buying the real estate from the developers and then the billions of dollars then spent on buildings put on the real estate.

Kawana Waters on the Sunshine Coast is developed swamp land just a sand dune away from the ocean.

They are obviously very worried about rising sea levels there and on the Gold Coast.

The sea level is not rising. Kiribati is sinking as islands have been known to do, as well as rise. Have a look at the Va'au group in the Tongan Islands. They have quite obviously been thrust up 50 feet or more from the sea level.

Leave us alone with the rising sea levels crap puleease.
