Didn't see the program...Queenslander myself...think Australia's an awesome country but there's something about crossing the border into Qld that just makes me chill and go 'aaahhhh!'. Qld epitomises laid back, in Qld noone cares what area you grew up in, who your parents were or what you do for a living, you wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing. Have found Vic....beautiful scenery, lots to offer, compact, easy access to ocean, mountains, city, diverse windsurfing, even the weathers doable....but pretentious, snobbish and elitist...hell yes! The people just aren't as friendly and easy going, musn't be v. nice having to sweat so much on whether your wearing the right label or whether your deemed to be up to a suitable intellectual level to be included...give me bungas, beers and bikinis, north of the border any day....

Wasnt even a dive "eeee fell over, eeee fell over" boo hoo i am still devastated, the only good thing is the exposure of the FFA as an absolute crap/amatuer organisation
Give a crap descision, with no review
Give the wrong bloke man of the match
Engage a ref to a final who missus works at the Roar, that said i dont think he was bias
Play the bloody final of the major League at a non neutral venue
Finals in soccer is a bad joke
If you win the league you win it end of, well done Roar
End of rant apologies for the hijack of the thread but needed to get it out feel better now, good day all

In Melbourne you must dress like it's 1920 if you're a man, or 1984 for the ladies.

After watching that program..... Wow those jellyfish are very nasty. The computer simulation of the way the jellyfish injects its venom was chilling.

Not too worried about the spiders, we get funnel webs around here. As long as you leave them alone they leave you alone. Some people are terrified of spiders though.

What is more deadly than a funnel web in Sydney??

A trapdoor in Singapore.

You must be living in the wrong part of Vic! Very laid back here, no snobbery, trackys, footy shorts, beanies are the local fashion & any day you can wander into the local for a beer, get a warm g'day and chat amongst a wide range of demographics. Your comments on Qld re;laid back attitude pretty much represents where I live (except for the weather, although as you mention - it's "doable").

Bitey things or not, there are only two types of people in this world: those who are Queenslanders and those who want to be.

curtains are old fashion and should be thrown out and if you get Terracotta tiles they're garranteed for 50 years even with daylight saving
