Didn't see the program...Queenslander myself...think Australia's an awesome country but there's something about crossing the border into Qld that just makes me chill and go 'aaahhhh!'. Qld epitomises laid back, in Qld noone cares what area you grew up in, who your parents were or what you do for a living, you wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing. Have found Vic....beautiful scenery, lots to offer, compact, easy access to ocean, mountains, city, diverse windsurfing, even the weathers doable....but pretentious, snobbish and elitist...hell yes! The people just aren't as friendly and easy going, musn't be v. nice having to sweat so much on whether your wearing the right label or whether your deemed to be up to a suitable intellectual level to be included...give me bungas, beers and bikinis, north of the border any day....
After watching that program..... Wow those jellyfish are very nasty. The computer simulation of the way the jellyfish injects its venom was chilling.
Not too worried about the spiders, we get funnel webs around here. As long as you leave them alone they leave you alone. Some people are terrified of spiders though.
Bitey things or not, there are only two types of people in this world: those who are Queenslanders and those who want to be.
Queensland was good when it was cheap to live there but nowdays.... Whats the point? Hot as hell in summer, so many nasties running and swimming around, the sun comes up about 4am in summer. No daylight savings!!!!!!
We'll be giving it to you in state of origin this year. Seeing as you've been taking it for the last 6 years
^^^
curtains are old fashion and should be thrown out and if you get Terracotta tiles they're garranteed for 50 years even with daylight saving
