the game wouldn't have survived if it stayed as the VFL . It's just how it is . probably half the victorian clubs need to be dropped from the AFL .

bring back the VFL . and Victoria will feild a team in the AFL . that would be fair .

mind you, the West and south Aussie States had pretty strong competitions as well, when the state of origin was the us against them, they were hard matches, the legend of Teddy Whitton lives on fighting for the Big V, but moving on, the standard of the game has improved immensely, well apart from my team last weekend
