We're calling you a knob for wishing death upon people you don't even know.

We're talking about motorbikes on a surfing/windsurfing/sailing forum because we're in the General Discussion forum.

Bah, japs bikes... they all look the same... like they are designed by anime designers! Give me any good old Guzzi, Ducati, Norton or BMW they are bikes!

What wins on Sunday sells on Monday.

Ducati havn't built anything decent since Massimo Tamburini designed the 916. **The only exception was the superbike they built for the road** but again not a new idea. the Japanese were doing this for ages in the 90's (RC30, RC45, R1 SP, ZXRR series)

The notion that because it's Italian means quality is rubbish. I used to own a TM and while I loved it and it was hand built, it was the most tempremental and mostly useless bike I've owned.

Moto Guzzi kept the same basic engine design since 1940's. The gearbox design was based on a tractor (no shyt) and riding one showed how vague a bike can feel going around corners. The advatage of a guzzi is they just kept going. The engines were so understressed that they didn't stop. Reminds me of a Briggs and Stratten lawn mower. They just don't die.

I'll post my best and worst when I can be bothered.

Definitely not a bad vehicle ability wise...just **** ugly, in my opinion.
They were going for the whole old school cruiser look and failed miserably.

Well they didn't go for old school, they went with a modern FJ40 (1960)

But it's a thirsty 4L, weighs 2.2 tons and uses premium unleaded... imagine that with central Australian petrol prices oh and costs $50k.

I'm still going with cool.

What about the Cube?

I've seen a couple just like this ^^^ around Sydney, and somebody at work has 1... looks kind of cool in person... looks stupid in the pics.

if you want cool , just build your own.
great feeling , pulling up in a row of hardly tractors at the local bikie pub , kicking the stand out, hanging up the bike helmet and walking in for a can of lemonade
shared it with little stig, kicked up the stand and cruised on down the hill to the other bikie pub, to do the same

This seems like bad design to me... maybe I was doing it wrong?

Mrs had a flat tyre when she left for work tonight. Pulled back in the driveway and I lifted it up and took the wheel nuts off but the wheel was still stuck tight. Had to lever it off with a lump of wood. The centre of the hub fit that tight inside the wheel it would have been impossible without some kind of lever. Putting the spare on there was about a 3mm gap between the back of the wheel and the hub that closed up by progressively tightening the wheel nuts so it pulled in square. All the cars I've owned, once you undo the nuts and the wheel practically falls off. There's no way Mrs Lips would have been able to change the wheel by herself on the side of the road. Car is a Mazda 323, about 8 years old.

I didn't see anything wrong with buster posting the Halo thing. A few of the bikers here seem a little too defensive, which is normally a sign of insecurity. Telling him to FO and calling him names was always gong to provoke a response.

It's undeniable that bikes are far more unroadworthy than the least safe Automobile available today, they really should be illegal.

And the fact that we all pay taxes to the Public Health system, which looks after loads of half dead Ex-bikers means all bikers are fair game for mockery.

Motocycles = bad design.

It's the part where he said he wished for one of the forum members here to be killed in a motorbike accident...that's why we think he's a tosser.

Nah it was before that, he posted the Halo pic then people laid into him and he retaliated.

I didn't see the need to be so hostile, he obviously has an opinion and is entitled to voice it, so if that backlash by the bikers on here didn't happen he probably wouldn't have said what he said later. Or whatever I don't really care it's just the internet..

Same could be said about windsurfing then...because according to Buster it's like the most hardcore extreme sport there is.

I'd better not take up windsurfing or I might get myself killed tired.

The fact that someone has a hobby/sport/pursuit that has an element of risk to it does not automatically label them as a target for abuse.
Friendly ridicule is one thing (like how we all bag out each other's sports) but threatening to smash someone's skull in and wishing that they be killed in a horrific accident...that's just...well, I doubt I need to explain.
