One of the best final laps I've seen in a hell of a long time![]()
Lorenzo with giving it rizz around there, Rossi did an outside pass on him first corner of the previous lap which had everyone scratching their heads how the hell he made it.
Valentino is just special, 125's and 250's he used to wave the guys through from behind him. In the 125's he then would pull up beside them doing a wheelie on the straight and then breeze of into the distance.
Dohan did it through sheer hard work an doggedness, Rossi is just an awesome natural talent, it's unfortunate they don't come along all that often.
Love watching the bikes, mad baskets one and all, incredibly tough, incredibly talented, much better racing (especially on the smaller capacities)

I have to say Underbelly sucked me in, and I thought I wouldn't like it. Its kind of frightening to think that's its a dramatisation of reality. No wonder so many people want to get armed.
Can't believe no one has mentioned 'Madmen'!!
SBS, thursday nites @ 8.30.
Made by the producer of the Sopranos, so you know it's a class act!
Apart from that...big fan of 6 Feet Under and Dexter.
Also a recent convert to Spooks, which craps all over 24.
For a current affairs fix I can't go past Dateline on SBS, or Four Corners on the ABC.
And always on the lookout for good doco's on SBS.
From ninemsn.com.au, a number of their Australian programs can be downloaded for free. You just need to be careful you do not exceed your download limit from your I.S.P.
There are the full 13 episodes of "Canal Road" which is an excellently produced series set in Melbourne. Each episode is a story in itself and there is another story that underpins the whole series.
They did have the whole "Underbelly 2" series on there but it has been removed and the "Hiko" player (just a plug in to Windows Media Player) won't play them on my computer any more. The episodes can be played with Irfan Viewer but you get a water mark in the middle of the picture.
Cisco: you have to watch your bandwidth much more when viewing from Ch9 than if you just download TV using BitTorrent or rapidshare. Why? They average 800Mb from Ch9 an episode vs. 350Mb via BT. There's no good reason for the size - the picture quality is apparently pretty bad (compared to standard 720p), it's just that their player/plugin just uses a crappy codec and there's extra downloading for DRM and ads.
The reason Underbelly won't play anymore for you is that the DRM built in has decided that you've had your chance and you're time is up.
So in summary: you have to use more than twice the bandwidth to get a lower quality picture, with ads that you can't skip, and the file self destructs after an unknown time. Not much of an incentive to do it their way, is it? ![]()
Having said that, aussie shows are harder to find than US/UK.. it often helps to get them right after they air. After a quick search I did find the whole 13 ep first season of Canal Road available as a single 4.2Gb download (same as 5 eps via Ch9).
Yep - Madmen is a pretty good show. Have been watching most eps and it is getting better. I just wish they wouldn't smoke so much as it makes me feel crook (yep - seriously) reminding me of drunken nights and waking with an ashtray tongue. ![]()
Have been missing the bouncy action of Underbelly: A tail and two titties ![]()
Wish Arrested development would come back on.
Big Love and Mad Men - third season of Big Love should be coming soon.
Lost, Dexter, Weeds and so many other tv series start out so good and then just lose themselves somewhere in the second series.
