It's pretty bad when you use the general discussion forum as your main source of current affairs information.

...and is that 8200 posts Gestalt?

Ooh, I don't have a Mrs. I did contribute to the Gay Marriage thread but not with a personal agenda

Sorry Trace, Please accept my most humble appologies.
I just assume everybody is male on here (please don't sue me for that comment)
I'm not sexist - I love mixed netball (I just wouldn't play it).

Why do I come here??

Not for weather forecasts. Sorry Laurie, BOM is the most readable site for me.

For the friendly and convivial atmosphere? No. Nearest I can get to that is at the local pub.

For the latest in leftist and political correct thinking? Not what I come here for but there is plenty of it.[}:)]

For the latest innovations in land sailing. It certainly has that saving grace which is one thing that keeps me coming back.

What really keeps me coming back are the great people who contribute to the sailing forum which is so good it does not have or need a moderator.

Seem to meet people with common interests and objectives People who understand the given chosen sport . People who Provide me knowledge & genuine input and make me laugh. Wonderful people who have showed compassion supported us in times of need when basically there is no-one left to turn to !.

Normal People thru everyday life don't understand us and the fun and rewards achieved in all of our chosen water related sports when condition dictate! !

The main reason for me is is people on seabreeze are willing to help new people who they dont know personally unconditionally. Once you have learnt you feel obligated to pass on them skills (hand them down). There maybe a few funny answers and a laugh but sooner or later someone will nail your question/problem with a high level of technical support.
