that would be too easy chook,I want a bucket of gears and brake for doing front wheel stands![]()
Hope ur dental insurance is up to date...............![]()
its slowly morphing on the floor as more parts are ratted form the graveyard.
currently looking like this . Rear shocky cos I can
6 gears ,maybe 18,. I got as far as building the front fork and welding up the main chassis spar when the acetylene ran out so theres a stop until i get the green light from the purchasing dept for a new bottle![]()
Surely rear wheel steering or two wheel steering has got to be on the cards.
tried one over the weekend with twin steer, seemed a bit silly
besides which , i will be 1.5m off the ground when riding so i thought keep it simple
ish
the rear shock should make it nice on the kerbs, and a fat26x2.3 tyre on the front for a smooth ride below the family jewels

If you touch the front brakes with that, you will go straight over the top. It looks like the c of g will make it impossible to stop going downhill.
Make sure you have a good dental plan in place before you do the test drive. ![]()
Is it worth reversing the front 'forks' so the dropout point down instead of up?
May help keep the front wheel in when you land from a popping a mono![]()
dont panic fellas, the CoG is actually well back from the head stock. much further back than a real one. alot more weight will be on the rear than you might expect. hence the shocky
for comfort.
Ive ground to a halt at the moment ,saving up for a bottle of acetylene.
so ive been rebuilding some other interesting bikes that ive saved.
this ones a ally framed hardtail downhill bike that had been stripped , so im rebuilding it as a 8gear, but it could be a 8x2.. seems nice to ride but im getting a bit old for bumps and disc brakes that stand you on your head in a flash![]()
once i get it tuned and running nice i'll slap it on gumtree to get some building funds together![]()
