Nappy harnesses are the go. Look at the stack, with a waist harness, he would have broken his ribs. In a seat harness at high speeds, you can actually get more leverage in perfect ridng position as the spreader bar is lower. This lowers the centre of gravity. Could you do it in bindings?

Why dont they stick a kicker ramp half way along the course, now that would be fun to watch

If these guys really had balls they'd be doing this with boots and unhooked...and they'd have to hit a rail half way down the course!
