As I said to someone else today, yeah the rumors of drugs etc are no good, BUT, he is a celeb we wouldn't even be paying homage to him if he wasn't one... you get the good with the bad when your a celeb. On the plus side at least so many people around the world are paying homage and remembering Andy for his sick surfing skills. Whether he took drugs or not I couldn't care less, even if it turns out he did. If anyone does drugs I am not going to judge them for it.
It's entirely up to you what you want to believe the media isn't gospel.
So sad for his wife and unborn child. 
If drugs were the cause/contributor it would be doubly tragic for a bloke who extracted himself from that to be what he was.
Could be anyone out there really.
So what if he did die from a drug addiction. Let's all get off our high horses. A drug addiction is a drug addiction... doesn't mean it deteriorates his character, nor what he accomplished, he was an amazing athlete who rode barrels better than anyone I've ever seen.
If he didn't die from drugs, he didn't, if he did, he did. But in the end he is gone, so let's celebrate, grab a beer and toast to his incredible life and performance. We will all be there soon enough...let's not judge.
