It's obvious from reading these posts that my experience with Andy is not isolated.

From the time I, as a beginner in the sport, met him, he has extended to me the same friendliness and respect I see him extend to everyone.

Nothing has ever been too much trouble for him to do for me.

I have seen how busy he is in the shop, even on the point, in between sessions he is taking care of business on his phone, Saturday, Sunday, he is helping people to engage in their passion.

Sometimes after getting off the phone to him, or talking with him in the shop, I could feel guilty for taking so much of his time. I know he really wants me to pick the right gear and get the best out of it.

His passion for wind/water sports, and other sports is obvious, he really gets stoked when he sees others enjoying and progressing. He always seems to put others first.

I don't know that I would lend me a kite. Andy does.

I always feel like we do good business.

He's a human being, I guess he has down days. I've never seen choose anything but a positive attitude.

One day I'm going to ask him why, when he sells wetsuits, he still goes out in winter in boardshorts.

Andy, the person you are is borne out in this forum. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope you are back under a kite real soon.

Sincerely Best Wishes
John Pirona

Dearest Andy
Your one of the most amazing people we have ever met and you have done so much for us. Now it's our turn to repay the favour and be there for you to tackle whatever challenges come your way. Stay positive and PLEASE let us know if there is anything at all that we can do, even if it's sneaking a block of cadbury chocolate into your room when the nurses aren't looking... PS I hope you have some sexy ones looking after you.
Love, friendship and thinking of you always... Kav & Nat

Hi Andy,

We want you to know that Jake and I are thinking of you and your family in this difficult time.

Stay positive, stay strong and for just this once- don't worry about the work.

You have a strong crew backing you at your shop and it will all be fine. Now is the time to focus all of that optimism, determination and strong will of yours into healing your body.

Look forward to the next time we catch up as always! (Had a blast in Hood River with you and Tom on the mountain!)

Sending MASSIVE HUGS from us.

Love,

Theresa and Jake xx
