The day that someone on here becomes even close to the best in the PKRA is the day i would take there opinion serious. It's so easy to judge and compare someone to someone else but whats the point. He has obviously worked hard to get were he is so all the baggers may as well put up or shut up. The PKRA judges have there own criterior for what they expect from the riders and he came out on top. It's like watching Bathurst and having someone winning for most of the race to crash out in the last laps. As long as your on top at the end you must have done something right to be there. As for Hadlow he is an awesome rider but wasn't in the race so docent count. How many guys around the world are ripping at the moment but haven't or don't want to be in the spot light. You may as well compare all of them to him as well.
The media guys are out in force.

Regardless of the reason, Andy has full right to say f-u to iksurf. Every kiter worth his salt knows it is a piece of sh/t mag, and by supporting mags like these they are not doing the sport any favors long term. If you still doubt Rou Chater is a rookie then perhaps read the email I sent in 2008, it's entitled: Your latest mag is....

It's been discussed to death,
The editor has no idea about kitesurfing (what's good/bad)
He feeds off scraps, basically semi pro kiters whoring themselves out to get some coverage.
The photos themselves are all freebies, either donated by riders or by mag sponsors.
You pay for what you get, and the content is very average. In the day and age of the Internet I could just google search and find better pics. Unfortunately there is little money in the kiting industry so that means that pro photographers who actually are skilled at what they do find it much harder to get their stuff published from the mags who do actually pay. I don't want to read a mag that is a thinly veiled advert. There is no soul in IKSURF.
How's that douche that wrote that SB article trying to add me on fb.. yes i really want to be friends with the saggy beef curtain that just had to publicly advertise my fave spot as if it's got endless room for all those travelling kooks that put their kites in the trees and around the lamp posts.
