Just had a suggestion to create an Australian chick kiter network

Any ideas for the acronym?

ACK is fairly crap. I know this post will probably go pear shaped into humour but hey....

Why is it when women do male dominated sports that they have to make a big deal about doing it? Are women sexist?

Sorry for trying to bring more women into the sport. I'm sure you'll be whinging when there are more fit women on your beach in bikini's. Pretty sure no one has ever been upset by our group rocking up at their local.

Start a men's group and stop whinging

And Todd.....sexual frustration perhaps??

So far nothing worthy....with all the creativity in comments surely someone can put their brain to good use..........or am I just being hopeful

Nah just joking little O, some of these suggestions are just wrong and I was actually trying to thing of something, but I've got nothin.....yet.

I think it is great that some girls are getting into it and if my last girlfriend tried it like she kept saying she was going to I think we would still be together but she ended up making me choose.

C'mon little o, clearly some effort and time has gone into some of these suggestions, they might not look too good on a bumper sticker or t-shirt, but you did ask for a sensible answer from a bunch of kiters that are going nuts looking at red arrows for the next 7 days.

this right here is why girls are really pushing their involvement in the sport. Because in kiting there is a really chauvanistic culture (probably inherited from surfing) where guys think they own the water. Just a heads up mate... there are probably a whole lot of girls that are heaps better than you.

i more have a prob with guys getting in my way because they just assume they are awesome and that they should show off their little boosts right in front of the girls. The girls around here are better then most of the guys, and you know what, most the guys are really supportive of that.

oh dear... there is always someone that takes it too far. See the other ones were funny because the acronym was derogatory and therefore only implied. Yours is just derogatory from the get go and therefore not funny, just insulting.

If you can get a bird name in there could be catchy with the whole flight and female thingy.
e.g.
HAWKS-
Honorary Australian Womens Kite Surfers. (or Honorary Aussie Womens Kiting Society). Have to be free to register though otherwise the name makes no sense.

Acronyms can end up being old fashioned and dorky. Maybe you're better off just being Australian Womens kitesurfing association and come up with a logo.
