23, kiting for 4 years.

.... And getting out done by many a 40+ yr old

I remember one time, getting out of the water after a 3hr sesh. My mate (40+) comes in 30mins after me. I'm pretty impressed and tell him so. He proceeds to grab his head and go "man i'm so hung over...."

Moral of the story anyone??

... ha, thats gold, that was me yesterday! Took our groms kiting, they came in after an hour and I'm the one nursing a hangover (I knew I shouldn't have had a sip of wine)! Mind you, us 40+ dudes mow the lawn (as in cruise up and down) more while the young ones go hard!

Most of the 40+ I know go hard. We are talking: clearing 15m in jumps, back rolls, 720s, kiteloops!! I take my hat off to you boys. Def Pat and Ric. Those two are amazing. Both 40+

age 50, Kiting for about 8 years, windsurfing for 30 years. My mate Grant is over 60 and still going strong, I can only wish that I could kite and sail as well...

Age is a state of mind, although the joints are now starting to get a little stiff.

wrap me in a kite and feed me to the fish when I die...

Yeah fully... Because kids don't spend anytime on the internet these days do they...
Honestly, FB and the internet is probably the reason most kids get laid.

Still 43 - after reading this thread and feeling good I decided that I would add a little wakeboarding to the list of things I do as an old feller - So off to Bli Bli cable park.....

After 2 hours of being battered, feeling great and getting leg cramps....I called it a day. 4 days later I feel like I have been through a combine harvester....

Kiting never leaves me feeling like this.....I am sticking with that only....

P.S The Bli Bli cable park is excellent.....the people are great and the park is very ingenious. I just wish that they had the single line kiters rig running while I was there. I am just not in good enough condition.
