we are heading to little gibber aust day to try for a down winder if ne, or an upwinder if se...
snorkle, surf or fish in morning & kite back down when wind kicks in, 
if you drive to hawks nest beach we can fit you & gear in a 4wd, or drive to dark point & walk a km on soft sand.
& is only one hour from newcastle !!!!
little gibber is a 14km drive on soft sand north of hawks nest, & is the closest point to broughton isl. (4km`s on water ??)
will leave at 8am.

hey holly, any of them have 4wd`s ??? the more the better, for putting bum`s in seats to get to the gibber, they dont need a beach pass,
all the gf`s are going so you will have to get them on the water !!!
should be a good day weather & wind wize,bring tow toys & pool ponny`s.

aussie flag(there will be 100 other 4wd`s on the beach showing there pride)

lach, craig has already sent me pics of jet ski`s he`s looking at. !!!! kriggin exspensive tow toy...... i`ll supply the rope.

hey mick, we head in ne from gibber to hawks nest beach. in se we head the other way....
it will work in any east wind, beach drive is 14km`s. & kiting back is between 18 & 40km`s on the water. the beach is a big bannana. in a ne its cross off,cross on then on shore at the surf club. you get good speed runs behind the breakers close to the surf club.

Wind is looking better than good its' lookin awesome. We are planning on meeting you at the little gibber on the day for the ride. Probably leave Diamond Beach at about the same time you leave Newy. What a way to spend Australia Day!

I am contemplating coming. Anyone know whether a Forester (08) would make it up the beach (easily)? I am thinking clearance and lack of locking diffs could make it difficult.

hey pete, your car might get stuck unless its low tide. it gets some deep ruts at hight tide, where are you heading from??& how many people?? we will be at hawks nest golf club around 9-9.30am,if you wanna meet there. we have a few cars we can put you in..

has someone remembered to order the swell? .It seems that the wind was ordered but i'm a bit concerned that with all the organisation and co ordination this important bit has been forgotten
thats why my car fridge is full lach !!! there`s a biggest loser camp up the road,if they go for a swim we will get swell !!!

We will come in to the Little Gibber from the North, so meet you up there when you get there. Will be in the Silver Patrol with all the kids running wild, not enough room in the Ute for the whole family.
Give us a call from the Golf Club entrnace and will let ya now whats happening up the Gibber.
Looking forward to a good day! Not much in the way of swell but we look like getting a late NE for the run down the beach.
