Settle Fellas!

The reason Im asking is that apparently they were watching a pod of dophins just prior to the attack. I wouldnt have thought that a pod of dolphins would be hanging around with a 3m GW in the the close vicinity. BUT could be wrong!

^So you believe the old myth that if you see dolphins you won't see sharks hey.

Good luck with that.

The last time I saw a shark off Mullas it was just after we past a pod of dolphins.

Nah, dont really have fixed opinions on any marine behaviour( not even what the so called experts or self proclaimed experts tell us) but was just wondering whether a dolphin attack might have been a possibility. Judging by reaction, probably not. Sorry to have brought it up!

A mate got bumped of his board on an outta reef off Perth a few years ago. He dosnt think it was attacking him tho, it just swam off. Maybe it was just having a look?

This is such a miss conseption - dolphns are very messy eaters and get followed by sharks who pick up the scraps, maybe not a 3m one though

Was a segment on Catalyst recently looking at shark repellent. Interesting differences between species
