Once again, the WAnkas surpass themselves.

Are your all on testosterone patches or something?

Well done. You're an international kiting laughing-stock!

Im going to make my own rules up at my beach too, fcku the code.

I'm not suggesting for everyone to make up their own rules Suniboy but rather not be a Nazi in enforcing them. If someone doesn't follow a rule, there is no danger presented and the worst thing that happens is u have to wait, transition earlier or bear off downwind of someone, etc., then i am saying you are still having a pretty good day.

Rules,rules,rules.........

I would take a common sense(safe) approach over a rule any day. If there's a small flat water section close to the beach(take off area) and its good for tricks / transitions stay clear. Launch your kite, keep it over the land(away from trick area-ie danger) until clear. When clear bring kite up around and off you go. If your not comfortable with this you should get more experience until you are. Some people think they have a right to put other people in danger just because they are learning. Bull****.

Like people say the ocean is a big place. Find that space to learn in a safe environment.

Above all be patient, curtious and enjoy what a great sport we have.

Courtesy and common sense should prevail over kitesurfing rules for the Europe. Just don't launch in front of someone sailing, its rude and ignorant. Why not wait for him to pass?

Why so serious???? this isn't racing, if it was then by all means the rules count and have the argument with the stewards and someone will be right and someone will be wrong, as it stands you both went kiting to enjoy yourself and no doubt came home and remember little of your session except the confrontation (hence you both had to post here)

the rules are designed to ensure everyone is safe, if you get to the point that you have to force the rules (i.e. have an argument over them) then you are being unsafe!!!! the one rule that's missed in the rules there is that if there is any uncertainty your are both to ensure that no collision occurs, that I would think supercedes all of the afore mentioned rules.

PS I agree with default, funny as

No Luther you misunderstood me i used the example of Tarifa as example why there is an international rule that states "a kiter or windsurfer" leaving the beach has right of way!!!

No Weta didn't misunderstand you at all at Quinns we have an accepted international rule that states -:
hang your arse in the water a little longer till the incoming rider has executed their transition
simple !!!!!
