I'm sorry, but what you guys call 20+ over there is pathetic. I would kite in QLD's "20+" with a 17 so I didn't get bored.
Been windy on the east here for a month and a half already... Kited an 8m really powered more than anything else.
p.s. And before all you WA heros chime in about the wind strength on the east, I've been to Fuerte, Leucate and Morroco amongst places so I know what I'm talking about

@ Stamp, yeah I think the wind is a bit more gusty up there, especially if it's at all to the N instead of straight NE. I've just been out around Ballina and Lennox and was actually thinking (after being overseas) how amazingly smooth the wind here is most of the time haha.

p.s. I'm also pretty stoked when I get a surf, kite and a skate in the one day, but I'm usually screwed for a day or so after haha.
