If I couldn't surf I would ride a sup too I guess. Do you ever see a good surfer ride a sup? (unless it's knee high and he is having a laugh and getting in touch with his feminine side) or are they all really just massive kooks like they are in Perth?? And when it gets solid why do they never show? They act so tuff in the small stuff.

I'm tipping Kelly didn't buy any board ever.

But if they pay me to ride a sup I would. Untill then...

I gave up surfing for all these reasons.

Bit sissy like... Why not just surf somewhere with fewer people? No need to give up what you enjoy...our coastline is massive...

If you lived in WA you would realise what you said doesn't apply. Waves are few and far unless you go offshore to outer reef breaks.

Will believe it when I see some pictures as well...

This is from another forum:

Any well-managed sponsored athlete that wants something out of the scope of their sponsors products will buy it. Accepting something expensive for free has inherent problems. Easier for a guy like Kelly Slater to just pay.

Probable one of the best days at Wanda yesterday, considering there was no wind, just prefect peaks. Only problem were the boat people with paddles screwing the lineup.

Can someone please explain why you need to be 40+, balding, Overweight, and the most boring wave riding ever to ride a SUP please....

Drew

Perfect peaks everywhere, and your session was ruined by 40+, balding, overweight kooks on their boats?
Haha, You must surf even worse than you kite!

You think SUP's are bad try hairless 100kg + monsters dropping in by the dozens and they don't even stand up, most people call them Dolphins. Get a life venomrator, may you have put a curse on yourself that by the time you are 40 you will be the most beautiful hairy man around and the hottest surfer,NOT. haha
