To mix it up the following things could be done instead at the editing stage:
Decrease the number of times a kite doing not much is included in the vid and stop putting 15 frames of a stationary kite in every vid. Kiters know who BWS are. We don't need to be reminded at every opportunity. Create a bit of a talking point and let the riders do their thing. Kiters will naturally ask other kiters what kites and boards the shredding Spono rider use.
Include any footage where the kite 'happens' to enter into the footage during a sick move. This would be seamless advertising ![]()
Mix it up. Put the BWS logo at the front or at the end of the video sometimes. Then let the video speak for itself without the product placement. This is a declaration that the video is made by a brand and comes across as less deceptive.
Try and not to put any advertising at all on the occasional vid.
Finally, keep the vids coming! I will still watch them even if the '3 stationary kites shown for 0.5 of a second' policy continues ![]()
I saw straps!! how could that get through? must have been the local tour guide as it looked like he got in that surging thing that could be called a tube.
Im keen to see a decent length clip, but in the mean time, keep the short teasers coming.
Pimp away, Im happy to sold to.
Oh my God, I can't believe that Ben Wilson is advertising his company on the internet. This is just so outrageous, I feel compelled to write half a page of absolute drivel on the forum and then repost it whenever his clip comes on.
Drivel
Drivel
Drivel
But if I saw him on the beach, I would say 'Ben, you're so good, you're tearing it to bits...you're the new frontier. Man love your kites. Dude, your vids are sick! Hey Ben, how bout hooking me up with a sweet deal on some of your kites?'
...
You whinnying bunch of armchair critic losers. As grown men (and perhaps women), you have nothing better to do with your time than flame someone who is trying to make a living doing something they love anonymously on an internet forum! You have redefined the word loser, losers.
Get over it.
That spot seems to have more drowning potential than anything else.
The most interesting bit for me was the bit of the kite in the air, as it showed what the bridle configuration was, which was news to me.
They have made some good videos and I'm sure there will be some good ones to come.
all these extreme clips frysey is making me inspired to hit the waterslides at Beatty park!
Coming Wil-de-beast?
keep them coming mate. All i can say is you are one of the few these days that keep me imspired to kite the little i do, and all these whinging kiter noobs of today (and grumpy old men $lave) that bash companies and riders that are driving the sport inspire me to do other things.
That was SICK s@#t, FULL respect to the guys in the water, good to see you enjoying a beer on the rocks Ry waiting for the swell to pick up.
I have not been in the water a lot this summer but after watching all these BWS clips its inspired me to get back on the water (that's the truth), so a big thanks to the BWS boys and girls.
