How about a seat harness with a seal around the legs and a hose attached. You could fart and the gas would pump up the kite ![]()
yeh If its NW an around 20 I will see you there gota feeling its not really gunna happen
but I would love to be oh so wrong ![]()
we could compare pumps too ![]()
It's probably already been said but......YOU LAZY B...STARDS!!!!
Someone should invent a virtual kitesurfing machine, one you could set up in the lounge, that way you wouldn't have to go out at all, keep the discomfort to an absolute minimum.
I may be showing my age here but I find the warm up is good for my arthritic knees.
If you're going to use compressed anything, helium is the go, you don't even have to launch![]()

Well, I am a paintballer, kiting has taken a back seat to tournaments latly, but i plan to be back out the next day with wind.
we use 68cu fibre wrap cylinders at 4500psi for our guns, i usually have 1 in the back of my car, if you ever see me at a beach in melbourne and are feeling too lazy to pump up your kite just let me know :)
Maybe i don't get it. What is wrong with using a hand pump. If it takes too much prescious energy, then get a foil.
73-78 pumps on my 10m kite. - Under a couple of minutes. - Single pump inflation point. By the time you get your cylinder, compressor, paint gun, out of the car, and inflate your kite, and put it back in the car again, i will have already finished 2x runs.
Really guys, next you will tell me you have a remote controlk for the tv, instead of getting up and changing channels.
