What is the Most kite compatible Job?
I am thinking Crane operators...Not bad $$$$ and whenever there is a bit of wind you have to stop working! Be out on the water!
tis' not bad, dogman, earn a pretty penny in casual stakes without the
solitary of sitting in the crane cabin.......
but, in tbe grand scheme of all things kiting,
maybe something that would require you to work nill through nov - march (teacher)
(keep in mind kite surf instructors are by and large total ****wits, and work nov till - march) {sorry daz}
teach children kitesports.
I only work an hour a day, from 4 to 5 and most of the school are close to Cronulla so I only loose half an hour getting there and back or they just meet me at the beach !!
want a job? need lots of instructors business is growing fast.

So when you teach 300 kids a week by working an hour a day, that comes to 40+ kids in one hour trying to do "kitesports".

Wine Export is pretty good for me
5am to 1pm, getting up early sucks but in summer I get every seabreeze!
I club seals.
Bit messy work but the pay and hours are great
the Japs want my skills for their whale hunting team but its too much time away from home for me.
Chef works pretty well for me, in at 5am in the summer, prep and cook my @rse off, and at the beach for 2pm.

You shut down when it get to windy. When there no wind you get free lobs all day.
Forex trader. You trade the euro session at night, make fark loads of money(if your good at it)and have all day to do what ever you want.
I know a job...
Your tools of the trade are always on you. You are your own boss. You have a huge hourly rate. You can work as much or as little as you like. You can do it almost anywhere, even at the kitespot.
Self loathing might be an issue.

I dont do it anymore but teaching would have to be about as good as it gets.
- 1/2 of Dec & all Jan off.
- at least 2 other 2 week breaks for trips during the year.
and you knock off in the middle of the afternoon all year round.![]()

the jobs i've worked kick ass for kiting. Worked at maccas for 9 years... shiftwork, graveyard, mornings (1pm finish). Now i work at nzpost as a postie... 6 days a week but 7am start and finish when you finish the mail (usually between 11am and 2pm).
SW hits east auckland usually at about midday (blows till sundown)... NE blows all day... sea breeze in summer hits in da arvo... frontal stuff hits whenever it wants to ![]()
