People. Please. Everyone in the world knows that Rowdy is the best Kite Rider on the planet. It is from this position of ultimate strenght that he can diss and dismiss any other ride on the planet.

He's the best in the world at everything, he knows it, he knows it. We know it.

I reckon if he's hooked in doing a handle pass it'll be the most impressive trick ever

Dear Rowdy
Why are you so against people using there kite for its intended use? Which is pulling yourself and your board around the place whether or not its a surfboard, gayskate or a kite/wakeboard.

What i would really like to know is whats the difference between ians unstrapped board using the wind to hold the board to his feet and your wakeboard with large boots to keep it attached to your legs?
i know which one involves more skill and i definatly no u definatly wouldnt look very "steeezzzy" riding that wave on ur wakeboard or gayskate!

Oh yeah, which one is that? Seeing I am obviously in no position to make judgement as I am not a "pro" kiteboarder I would love to hear which one (wakeskate or surfboard) would involve more skill to use in that situation from someone who knows. I think Keahi could help shine some light on this situation.
As for this not being an up-wind punt, I'm sure this is the same wave that Wilson had a whole video of up-wind airs at. I would love to see the sequence, as I am pretty sure he is hooked-in. Even if he does make it, this trick will involve some over the head whip nonsense of the lines. Funny thing is when Pete Cabrinha was doing those air reverses hooked-in in Ten4 people said they were gay, but now people do that all the time it's suddenly considered ok?...

Really in the end kiting is all about fun and I am all about people having fun so if your alright with what tricks/ videos/ photos you put out as a pro rider good for you. However you know my stance on the subject, it's your choice whether you choose to accept it or ignore it.

Down wind up wind whatever , damn good pic I reckon, dont know how he actually got in that position though ? it kinda looks like hes about to twisted in half but did he make it ,doubt it . Who knows where the wave side of this sport will go with those sort of moves ,no wonder they say he's one of the best (Ha , maybe he's going to Best!)

"Funny thing is when Pete Cabrinha was doing those air reverses hooked-in in Ten4 people said they were gay, but now people do that all the time it's suddenly considered ok?..."

trends come and go... ugg boots were considered gay when I was a kid.... now I sell millions of them each year.....

yoyo's are set to make a return this year.

Haha Rowdy could well be right on this one..Kiteboarding mag feature an instructional on how to do up wind airs with a shot from this exact spot used as an example. Check it at the botton of the page. www.flickr.com/photos/bryanelkus/5545076149/

Regardless I still think its good **

funny that...
I still don't think it's "good" trick though, I do think it is FUN however. It deffinetly isn't a cover worthy maneuver in any regard that is for sure and that is what I was trying to get across.
